Founded in 2009, SOLAY is a full-service psychotherapy private practice based in North Carolina. We help our clients make purposeful and meaningful choices with the goal of living a balanced and fulfilled life.

•Session fees range from $115 - $225 based on the clinician
•Session fees scheduled with counseling interns are $50
•All sessions are 45 - 50 minutes in length

"As a Licensed Clinical Mental HealthCounselor Supervisor (LCMHCS), I am approved by the North Carolina Board ofLicensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC) to provide clinical supervision to those seeking full licensure in the state of North Carolina.As an experienced supervisor and counselor educator, I provide a safe, supportive and compassionate environment to foster the growth and development of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associates. I supervise from an educational perspective while utilizing a variety of counseling theories and evidenced based supervision techniques. I honor my work in supervision and see my role as an educator, collaborator, consultant, administrator and partner in this shared journey."

SuperVision Rates
• Individual supervision: $130 per hour
• Group supervision (2–3 Associates): $80 per hour
The process
During the supervision process with Dr. Uzzell, Associates will develop their counseling skills, therapeutic competence and professional identity. You will learn best ethical practices, gain practical clinical tools, and develop personally and professionally through supervision, self-reflection, and experiential exercises. At times, when available, Associates may have the opportunity to develop and co-facilitate groups and workshops with Dr. Uzzell.

Dr. Uzzell believes that the supervision relationship is one of the most important and rewarding relationships a counselor will develop during their career because it sets the foundation for counseling practice. It forms the bridge between education and professional application. For this reason, she is intentional about providing high-level supervision while forming a long-lasting professional relationship with Associates.

If you would like to engage in clinical supervision with Dr. Uzzell as your supervisor, please email her and attach a copy of your curriculum vitae. She will follow-up with you within one week of receiving your email to discuss with you a plan for moving forward. Preparing for a visit

Seeking therapy is an individual choice and there are many reasons why people make the decision to come to therapy. Therapy can help address many types of issues including depression, anxiety, conflict, grief, stress management, and general life transitions.
Appointment Request
To schedule an appointment or to obtain additional information about any of our services, please email us or call 919-484-2222. If you are a current client, login to the client portal or call our office to schedule an appointment.

Methods of Payment
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit and debit cards. We also use a clinical portal that offers our clients the convenience of paying for their sessions via an online secure portal. Our administrative staff will discuss this convenient method of payment with you during the scheduling process.
Insurance & Reimbursement
We currently accept TRICARE. If you have another insurance, we will gladly provide you with the information you need in order to file an insurance claim with your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not attend your scheduled therapy appointment, and have not notified us prior to 9:00am on the morning of your appointment, you may be required to pay the full cost of the session. As you know, our therapists are often booked for several weeks in advance. In order to be fair to others who need our services, we ask that you make every effort to cancel your appointment as soon as you know that you will be unable to attend. We understand that emergencies do arise, and will remain as flexible as we can.
Virtual Therapy
Currently, all of our therapy services are being offered virtually via secure video or telephone. Once it is safe to return to our small and cozy therapy offices, we will continue to offer virtual therapy and assessments for clients who wish to continue to have their sessions in the comfort of their home.
